It all started with three highly successful entrepreneurs coming together in the pursuit of a common dream. They saw an immense need for a modern Indian restaurant and decided to change the landscape of the Indian food experience. With their collective passion for exceptional dining experiences and strong community connections, this team is poised to change the perception of the Indian food experience!
Co-Founder & CEO
Sagar’s natural leadership capabilities moved him to more and more prominent positions. He gained an early international perspective and understanding of diner tastes from positions ranging from cruise ship chef, to leading a development team of a successful chain of white tablecloth contemporary Indian cuisine restaurants on behalf of a celebrity Indian chef. Most recently, as opening chef for two prominent restaurants.
Co-Founder & Executive Chef
Sourav Biswas, Founding Chef-Partner, was born and raised in the Kolkata area.
Sourav attended and earned his degree at the GSM Global School of Management/Hotel Management College in Kalyani, West Bengal, India.
After graduation the chef added intensive hospitality training to their professional resume in Delhi. He also expanded his culinary repertoire since the area is known for a dazzling array of sumptuous dishes, many of which originated in the historic Mughal Empire. Several of these, including biryani, hold a place on the Delhi Belly menu.
